Youth Focus Project (YFP) provides the following services:
  • Provide accurate and comprehensive education to vulnerable children by sending them to school so to improve their future
  • To determine other technical ways which can be used in reducing street kids from engaging in drugs abuse, unsafe sexual intercourse and engaging in robbery and theft by taking them from the juvenile detention center and sending them to school to receive a proper education
  • Empower vulnerable children to recognize that the community considers them important individuals by taking them from the street, orphanages, and juvenile detention centers and sending them to school where they can mingle with other children and their families 
  • To identify psychological impacts that vulnerable children have and try to help them through professional counseling
To achieve these objectives, Youth Focus Project shall have the following functions:
  • We aim to significantly influence policy and practice towards children at the local and national levels, with the active involvement of children and their communities in the identification of priorities and advocating for change
  • YFP will also seek to ensure that confusing issues of HIV/AIDS, children's rights and participation, poverty or economic justice are either addressed directly or are integrated into all the education
  • YFP aims to support the government of Tanzania 's National Plan of Action for most vulnerable children with access to education, food, shelter, psycho-social support and legal protection in collaboration with the department of Social Welfare
  • Plan community events that raise awareness of helping vulnerable youth's issues within the community
