Youth Focus Project is a non profit organization located in moshi Kilimanjaro whose mission is to Save the Children fights for children's rights. We will deliver immediate and lasting improvements to children's lives in Kilimanjaro region and in the future all over Tanzania Youth Focus project was founded in 2009 in Moshi Kilimanjaro by a group of people, as an organization that deals with promoting child rights and poverty alleviation. We currently work in moshi and in the future we will expand our boundaries in over Tanzania if God wish. The organization aims to work with children and others to find lifelong solutions to problems facing children. To achieve this long term objectives we work on specific objectives in the following areas Right to Education-all children secure quality basic education Right to protection-All children are protected from exploitation and abuse Empower vulnerable kids to recognize that the communities consider them as important people by taking them from the street, orphanages, juvenile and mixing them with other kids from other families through sending them to other schools

What we do We're working flat out to get every child their rights, and to stop millions of children engaging in drugs and theft due to the life style they live. We're determined to make or further, faster changes to the lives of children in Moshi and around Tanzania. We have different projects at the local orphanages to support the kids at the orphanages by giving them skills on how to run their own small project to support their life at the orphanages and for their future life, we have farms where we cultivate some food to help the orphanages and the detentions center when they lack food, we are working with rau Foundation on supporting the kids from rau Primary and some from rau primary who have been selected to go to the government schools. We are volunteering teaching these kids computers and other subjects they are studying at school as their extra lessons after school and during the week end days. we have a business of selling tshirts, Cd's and Tanzania bracelets and from every single product we are selling 20% goes to the local orphanages,local schools, special needs care places and at the juvenile center. We are also working hand in hand with the organization that deals with hosting the international volunteers organizations such as Cross cultural Solution, Tanzania Volunteers, Hostel Off just to mention a few as local volunteers in supporting the international volunteers to their placements by helping them with the English to Swahili and other languages when delivering lessons or educating the people who are concerned We are also working hand in hand with the organization that deals with people with dis ability such as The Kilimanjaro Association of the Spinally Injured (KAS) by educating the people on equal rights and opportunities to all people without their dis abilities by preparing some conferences for example Dis- Ability Monitaring Day in Kilimanjaro region and also writing feature stories on people with dis abilities.
